The Impatient Theatre Co. has been performing and teaching Harold since 2001. Harold Night is a showcase of the ITC's seven improv teams that perform the Harold and other longform formats.
The Harold is a longform improv form created by Del Close at the ImprovOlympic in Chicago. The Impatient Theatre Co. uses the Harold as its signature form for performance improv.
Each week will consist of five 25-minute performances by Impatient Theatre Co. Harold teams. Our Harold teams are the equivalent to indie garage rock bands; they work hard to produce some of the most cutting edge improv being seen and performed in the country.
ITC teams are coached, provided with rehearsal time and are given stage time in order to perform and demonstrate the skills they have been taught in our classes.
