Get ready to fight for the future of our city! Help us as we fight city-wide layoffs. In February 2010, the City of Los Angeles voted to eliminate more than 4000 jobs city-wide. The proposed layoffs will have a devastating impact on our community and daily lives. Help save our sports programs, childcare centers, after-school programs, teen programs, senior centers, libraries, city zoo and much more!
Help keep these vital services alive by marching with us to City Hall to make our voices heard. On March 31, we will meet at Pershing Square in downtown Los Angeles and making our way through the streets to the steps of City Hall where we will fight to reverse the proposed layoffs and closures before they go into effect this summer.
How to get there:
Park at Pershing Square ($$$)
Red Line Subway to Pershing Square ($)
Park at District Council 36 on Shatto and take a red line to Pershing Square.
